Guest guest
hi June... I used to bring lilacs into school with me as a kid and sit there and suck the nectar.... I have read that I should not have done that, but I did. Lilac wood is good for carving. Lilac flowers are great for scent...when fresh.. but I have never come across a real good way of preserving the scent. I have never come across much other use..though I have not really looked.. though some have played with a tea of the leaves for an insect spray..not sure how well it worked. All I can think of now...worth a look, though..Joanie NOW I need to find out how useful lilacs are- since they are my favorite- only have one- would like more- but only if they are useful/???June
