ok, the town census lady *just* called and asked my profession and I gave

her the option of picking herbalist or educator... my last check was for

giving a class on herbs...so...??

there are a few in my town who have taken on the title of " certified

herbalist " ...but this just means in their case that they have been trained

to sell a certain Multi-Level-Marketing company's brand of herb pills..for

weight loss or whatever...I try to stay clear of an alliance with that

company..as I am one who believes in tasting and smelling and using things

whole...and for other reasons, too....too bad they can " use " that title...

...actually, come to think of it, I have most often called myself an

" herbologist " ...meaning I have more knowledge than practice, I think....just

thoughts, though....thanks for your words...Joanie

><ahem> I am both :) (the other being practicing herbalist, that is)

<sn>

I totally applaud your efforts. I make it a point to let people know I am

not owned by any company and that although I sell stuff it is all mine and

that I do not sell to my students. I hate taking a class etc.. and someone

is trying to pitch you a product. I also do not consider people who sell MLM

stuff herbalist. I am not trying to offend.

Just my .02 cents
