Guest guest
Sorcy, Alright, this will sounda little unorthodox, but a good friend who runs a green house here in the mountains by me, uses it and it is amazing. I am asuming that you start your plants in trays or in pellets in trays. If so place them on a table in the brightest area and under them place an electric blanket or throw, depending on how big the area is. Put it on low. This will allow quicker germination. YOu can also do this in an outdoor building as long as the plants get light. Works like a charm and it allows you to have a longer " season. " Just be careful to watch for the water level on the plants. Let the soil almost dry before watering. The blanket will increase water needs. Guest guest
Your lights need to be closer to your plants- Just inches away- then move up as plant gets bigger- I had one light that was way to high last year and had the same problem. A think a warm place would be great- I don't have room in my house- have to do it in the basement and my seeds grow slow due to cooler temps- anyway the warm weather ones- also water form the bottom- it works better- or for me anyay. June Alright, this will sounda little unorthodox, <snip>----not really I've been having good success with placing the trays on aheater. Its not the germinating that I can't do, its keeping them alive and preventthem from going too spindly and keeling over. I had grow lights last year25/7 and no effect.... which is why I am importing roots <lol>SorcyFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2.
