If I don't release the pressure, it will pop. Happened already once. I am on my third balloon.

You don't need to release the pressure on the balloon ;o)

[herbal remedies] Mead

Has anyone made the mead from the recipe in the files? I am trying it, using a baloon over the mouth of the gallon container. I made it yesterday, and the baloon is already completely inflated. Should I release the pressure every day? Will it damage the process?

Whoa, you've gotta be making a very potent formula there LOL ;o)

I wouldn't worry too much about releasing it once in a while.

I suggest you use a "safe" or a latex rubber glove. These work awesome, and allow just a little gas to escape while keeping the pressure up to some degree. I used the latex rubber glove, when I made mine.

It is kick-ass stuff, and can get a little addictive LOL. Tastes like a cross between Sherry and . . . I don't know what else ;o)

Watch it though, it can knock you on yer ass.
