Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions about acid/alk balancing! I have reactions to many foods so must juggle even more. My son has multiple sclerosis and osteoarthritis, both of which seem to improve through bee venom therapy. This is not for everyone, and caution must be used to determine possible allergic reactions. Swelling and itching are not considered such, by the way, slurred speach, throat closing, rashes in remote areas of the body, away from the stongs -- are. For a couple of years I overcame my phobia toward " bugs " and caught the bees with special tweezers then placed them on acupuncture points or sore spots on his back mostly, but legs and arms too. For a while I tried them myself -- greatly improved my energy and diminished my allergies. Before too long I developed the rash reaction, so had to quit. I took only one sting at a time, my son took around twenty. His pain and mobility improved. Some people get almost total remission of MS, but others get varying results. There is now an injectible form which is one tenth as strong, and maybe more tolerable(???), but we have not tried it. My son went on the newish Rx drug, Avonex, which has arrested his MS, ad was advised that it would be better not to continue the bees. There is an Apitherapy Society, if anyone really wants to go deeper. I actually miss the little buggers. Sometimes I fumbled and they got loose- that was exciting! ) Best Thomasine
