Guest guest
Without doing a very thorough investigation of her diet and herbal regimen, I'd say she was detoxing at the joints (probably getting rid of excess inorganic calcium carbonate). If this is the case, this is called a healing crisis and is usually followed by a healing of the area. I could very well be wrong here as you've given no data in regards her overall condition, and what's she's trying to handle, and what her current diet is, and what supplements (herbs, etc.) she's taking, etc. etc. Best, Doc Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D.505-772-5889Dr.IanShillington - Frank PoWell herbal remedies Friday, January 12, 2001 6:12 AM [herbal remedies] MSM causing pain I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but here goes:I have a friend who is taking MSM for pain. Yesterday, she asked if I had heard about it causing pain. Apparently, the MSM is causing pain in most of her body joints. When she stops the MSM, the pain diminishes. Does anyone know about this problem?Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy. 3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and toprescribe for your own health. Guest guest
Dear Frank, If there is excess calcium at the joints - one of the great herbs that dissolves unwanted minerals, especiall injoints, is Gravel Root. Your friend may want to take a Gravel Root tincture.....Love Penny
