I live on a freshwater island...I guess you could say I'm surrounded by it (ooh BAD joke! hehe). And I was wondering just how I was going to get the manure from the barn to my garden, seeing as how it's 30 minutes away, over the bridge...taking a three-minute drive to...well, anywhere, since I'm on an island would be more convenient, less...aromatic, and less messy. Many people have complimented my wife Valorie on the absolutely fantastic wheatgrass she used to grow. The secret - she lined her trays with good ole common wash up on the shore seaweed. You can use it anywhere in your garden and your garden will be the talk of the neighborhood. Ask Penny about the Papayas we used to have in Florida. They were the most delicious and humongous Papayas you ever saw or tasted. Our garden beds were loaded full of seaweed. Once every six months or so we'd go to the beach after a storm and just load it from the shore into the truck.
