Oh Sorcy,

I *love* the duckie routine!!! It's just too cool, and so much more effective

than all the bland, goodness-and-light, see-yourself-in-a-beautiful-meadow

visualizations everyone else does. Like water off a duck's back, indeed!

Quack quack,

Laura

occurrs, take time out. No matter what (what are they gonna do, shoot you?) .

Go to the bathroom if thats what it takes, but best is to take a step outside.

Close your eyes. Visualize a beautiful mature duck (male/female

> corresponding) floating on a calm, warm summer lake. As the duck begins its

vigorious bathing (if you've ever seen them do it you know exactly what I mean)

merge your personality/inner child/soul/concious with the animal. Remember, the

duck is real, you've seen it last year (20 years ago), remember?

explosion of sunlight glittering of the droplets flying everywhere, feel the

streams run down your body, and OFF YOUR BACK!!!!! Repeat as often as needed.

Personally, I like to slightly imitate the rocking motions (hey,

> nobody can see me, and if they can, who CARES???), flexing my shoulders....

after a few practice trials, I could get into the duck within seconds, smell the

the hurt.
