Guest guest
Hi all. I am currently reading a book about POW's during World War II. The prisoners that I'm reading about were mainly Australians, Dutch and American. It's interesting that the Dutch Doctors had much better luck with treating patients because they knew which plants could be used and had been trained in that type of medicine. The rate of amputation for American/British doctors was much higher than for the Dutch. I'm sure that there were many POW's who were thankful their Dr's knew how to use the local plants. Just thought that was interesting. Cindy Photos - Share your holiday photos online!
