It has some of the properties of Echinacea to stop infection and also is numbing so will stop the pain, leaving another simple (Echinacea) to handle the internal infection. I do not mix them together but use them seperately. Squirt Spilanthes on the tooth, swish amd swallow and take Echinacea dropperfuls internally.
