Guest guest
OK here is my 2cents worth. What I understand and have learned is that the Echinacea is an immune booster or jump starter and the Astragalus is an immune system regulator or maintenance as it were. I have heard of no harm coming from taking both, the reason I have learned is that you stop taking the Astragalus when boosting with Echinacea as the Astragalus is un-necessary at that time so in effect you are taking it for no reason so might as well save it. For my own personal use I use the Astragalus daily and only take the Echinacea when feel a cold or flu coming on or if a nasty bug is being passed around work. Then I start the Echinacea and then stop the Astragalus, then after 2 weeks I start the Astragalus before stopping the Echinacea. Has worked wonders for me for several years. This is just the way I was taught and have followed. Patricia
