Guest guest
Bach Flower remedies work psychologically and psychically at the energy level, rather then chemical.Remedies deal with and overcome negative emotions which come with illness. They enhance well-being and promote self-healing.He has 38 single remedies and then the rescue remedy. If anyone is interested I could do a summary of his remedies for the group. I like Bach and have done alot of research on him. June Bach used brandy not alcohol- the second paragraph uses alcohol.( From what I have read his rescue remedy is made by mixing the singles after they are made- I do believe with equal parts. Bach felt the spring water was "potentized" by the energy of the flower.). Making the mother tinctures Two methods are used to make the Bach Flower Remedies. 1. Most of the more delicate flowers are prepared using the sun method, which involves floating the blooms in pure water for a number of hours. More woody plants, or flowers which bloom when the sun is weak, are prepared by boiling for half an hour. In both cases full-strength 40 per cent brandy is used as a preservative, mixed 50/50 with the prepared tincture. Drops from the preserved mother tincture are further diluted in brandy to make the stock bottles that can be bought in the shops Production of the Bach Flower Remedies The production of the Bach Flower Remedies is handled in two ways: Using the "sun method," the flowers are picked on a warm summer day in full sunshine. The flowers are put in a glass bowl with fresh spring water, taken, if possible, from a spring close to the location of the flower. It is sufficient that the flowers only cover the surface of the water. The bowl is placed in the sun for two to four hours. According to Edward Bach the sun will transfer the vibration of the flowers into the medium of the water, which in this way becomes energetically impregnated. Afterward the flowers are removed from the solution, and an equal portion of alcohol is added for preservation (Bach used brandy). The derived solution is stored in a stock bottle. During treatment, the remedy is usually diluted with water. Since not all flowers, shrubs, bushes, and trees bloom at a time of yearwith plenty of sunshine, a second method for the preparation of remedies is necessary, the so-called cooking method. The flowers and buds are picked according to the sun method and boiled down. The extract is filtered several times and mixed again with the same portion of alcohol as a preservative. The process is continued in the same way as the remedies produced with the sun method.Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
