One of the best remedies for ear infections I've ever used is to crush a clove of garlic into about 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil, let sit for 24 hours, strain out the garlic pieces and put a few drops in the ear every hour on the hour while awake. It worked wonders on the children and adults I've recommended it to.

Love and Merry Christmas,

[herbal remedies] ear infection

Hi. My dear 80 year old friend/neighbor has had an ear infection for amonth now, and she is taking antibiotics, which are not helping. Shewon't use peroxide, and tinctures, (I don't think); she's from the oldschool. I hate to see her suffer, so is their something I cangive/buy/recommend for her? She counts on me.Thank youPS Thank EVERYONE for ALL the information and the encouragement to helpme in my quest to be more herbal, and therefore, to take lesspharmaceutical meds. if or when I don't need them.
