Hi Everyone,

Very happy to say that I tried the lemon egg recipe last evening and for

everyone's info I used 8 eggs and all but 2 lemons from two kilograms. Egg

size was 50grams. Started bubbling away nicely and I was truly cursing

myself for squeezing them by hand and not a cheatin' with the juicer.

Big G'day to Ian. I joined the list during your absence and am thoroughly

enjoying it.

Love Linda (truly hoping the eggs don't go soggy when I have to pull them

out...... else what do I do then?)

x x

Hi Linda,

Welcome aboard on the list. It's great to have you here :)

The eggs must not remain in the brew for more than 48 hours or the membrane may thoroughly disolve. 48 hrs. is the magick #. When you remove the egg after it has finished perking, do so with a big soup spoon, on an angle, and do it very gently for the membranes are very soft and can crack or separate quite easily. You can still use the eggs of course for what ever you wish and nothing is wasted which is one of the beautiful things about this formula. Unless you have chickens like I and a few others do, most egg shells go to waste.

Love,

Ian
