Guest guest
" Just over wintering plants, then light doesn't matter that much for all those herbs that die down in the winter anyway. The thing would be not to keep them too warm or give them too much water until they start to grow again and you can put them out on the patio . For annuals I have grown them over winter but you need excellent light otherwise don't bother. What plants were you considering?? What is your climate? That would help to figure it out....Joan ************************* joanr My Country Garden http://mygarden.cjb.net " I live in Michigan. I was thinking of some easy growing herbs. I would love to do veggies, but scallions, tomatoes and peppers are all I could realistically consider until I get some " dirt " space. I want to start a " basic " herbal garden. Enough to care for allergies, colds and I want to start making our soaps, lotions shampoos etc. I've set high goals for myself.
