Finding a naturopathic doctor locally

Hi Vicki,

This may sound funky but credentials really don't mean that much. I'd much rather trust a backwoods warlock who knew his stuff than an MD with a hundred letters after his name who treated me like a dumb idiot.

A true healer regardless of credentials will "EDUCATE" you, and I don't mean selling you a bill of goods and have you joining some MLM scheme. The original meaning of the word "Doctor" is "Teacher".

So, if you have a guy who says only, "Listen to me", "Do only what I tell you", or "Don't ask questions, just take this little pill" etc. etc. run from his office like the plague was chasing you. If a healer will take the time to answer your questions and then place the responsibility back on your own shoulders where it belongs, this man or woman is a gem and can help you learn your own path to health.

I don't have all of the answers and I know of no other Doctor who does.

We, each and everyone of us, are responsible for the conditions we are in, and it is up to ourselves to be "Cause" over our own lives. It is a very dangerous thing to place your life in the hands of another and then say "heal me".

The Truth of you lies in you. In the end we must be physicians to ourselves and find healing within.

We must be fully "Cause" and fully "Responsible" for ourselves. A true Naturopath will operate on the above principles.

Love,

Ian

This is for anyone who can help.I recently found a naturopathic doctor a few blocks from where I live.Yea!? How do I know what credentials to look for. Of course I look to seeif he/she seems to have their head on straight, but how can I tell ifhis/her degree or credentials are crummy? I have always done it on my ownor with advise from a knowledgeable friend (kinda like you guys). I am inthe states..if that helps any. Thanks,Vicki
