Guest guest
Dear Pat, Your post gave me a chance to repost my Natural Deodorant. Most deodorants contain chemicals that, when absorbed through the tender skin under the arms, cause problems. It is no coincidence that this is often where cancer strikes. Or that cancer begins in the lymphatic system. The lymph glands under the arms need to be able to function without the dangerous additives in most Deodorants being absorbed into them. Sage is antiseptic and, when absorbed into the skin has beneficial qualites for the body. This Deodorant is easy to make. I have used it for over a year in Florida in a working environment (in and out of the heat and air conditioning) Herbal Deodorant NATURAL DEODORANT;- 1 ounce sage tincture in alcohol form 1 ounce witch hazel extract 10-20 drops essential oil blend. Use sage, coriander, or camomile to fight bacteria and add another one that has a fragrance you like.(Iused peppermint and sage essential oils) 5-10 drops of grapefruit seed extract - a natural antibacterial agent, here used as a preservative. Mix together in a two ounce spray bottle. shake well before using (each time- although mine did not separate at all) Store in a cool, dry place. Should keep for a year (mine is in my bedroom which is presently at a Florida 80+). I did not use the grapefruit seed extract as this is added as a preservative. I suggest you do add it, however.... This came from Mindy Green of the Herb Research Foundation, from National Health Magazine. ------ Shower mom with love & roses! FREE bouquet of chocolate roses with Mother's Day purchase.
