Guest guest
Dear Herbalists, Have just been sent this on another list and felt it was too good not to repeat. It is from a book by Hanna Kroeger. I have her Instant Vitamin Mineral Locator which I bought in 1972 and TREASURE - so I have to find this other book of hers - but - here is the Recipe. Nice and simple to do....Thank you Lorri for posting it on another list....Best wishes Penny (Mike - as a Hill Wizard - what herbs would YOU put into the Oil? Sorcy - which herbs would YOU use? And, anyone else - please give me other ideas. Could one make different types of Healing Oils by varying the Herbs? I would prefer to use Coconut Oil and- infact - am just about todo that. Would be interesting to here which herbs YOU would pick. I shall go out and pick mine right away... in a beautiful golden Florida Sunset........Best Wishes Penny) She (Hanna Kroeger)has a " healing oil recipe " in the back of the book that I'd like to share: HEALING OIL RECIPE Take 2 handfuls of fresh herbs or 1 handful of dried herbs. Cover with olive oil. Let stand in a warm place for 14 days, stirring once in awhile. After 14 days, simmer for 15 minutes and strain. Squeeze the last drop of oil out of the mixture. Again put 2 handfuls of fresh herbs or 1 handful of dried herbs in the leftover oil and, placing it in a warm place, repeat the procedure. Strain and squeeze out the last drop of oil. There is not much left; however, the oil is mighty potent and you need only a few drops. HEALING OIL RECIPE Take 2 handfuls of fresh herbs or 1 handful of dried herbs. Cover with olive oil.
