The treating of Symptoms

Just a quick interesting little note here in regards Allopathic Medicine

vs. Naturopathic.

The Allopath will treat a headache with Aspirin. The headache

goes away and everybody's happy right? The doctor gets $90 for the

3 minute office visit and $5 for the bottle of Aspirin and gets to play

a lot of golf after his patients leave for the day.

The person who is new to Herbalism may also think along these lines

and think that all he needs to do is take some White Willow Bark and all

his problems are solved.

The big problem is, that the patient will be back again in 4 weeks (when

his Aspirin or White Willow Bark runs out) and go through the whole procedure

over and over again and yet still have his headaches.

People rationalize this by saying to themselves, "Well, I'm just prone

to headaches (or) I've suffered from Migraines all my life and it runs

in the family". Or the classic dumb, dumb; "Sheesh, I must be suffering

from an Aspirin deficiency". They go on living like this for years

thinking that this is the way life is.

A tried and true Naturopath realizes that there is a "Cause" behind

these headaches and that if you handle the "Cause" the headaches will disappear

for good = FOREVER!!!

It has been my experience that 80% of all headaches (including Migraine)

are cause by a clogged up bowel and bad nutrition. Also, that number

rose to about 98% when the stress (suppression) factor was removed from

their life.

Interesting huh???
