Guest guest
Dear All, With the news that breast cancer ususlly starts close to under the armpit and that antiperspirants, by stopping the exuding of toxins, MAY, be a cause for this, I have found a recipe for a natural deodorant. I have not tried it yet but wanted to share it. 1 oz sage tincture in alcohol form 1 ounce witch hazel extract 10-20 drops essential oil blend. Use sage, coriander, or chamomile to fight bacteria and add another one that has a fragrance you like. 5-10 drops grapefruit seed extract, a naturall antibacterial agent, used here as a preservative. Mix together in a two ounce spray bottle. Shake well before using. Store in a cool. dry place, this deodorant will keep for approximately one year. (From Mindy Geen of the Herb Research Foundation) Let me know if anyone out there makes it - we can compare notes I KNEW I had something about a home made deodorant in my volumous piles of scrap paper books and jotted notes in margins and in the kitchen cupboard under the hanging herbs!!!! Best Penny P.S. If you want to know how to make sage tincture -just mail me it is ever so easy Best PEK
