Thanks so much. I read through your remarks pretty quickly; must be

off to sleep soon. Sundays come early. I know you're right about the

tinier meals. I saved your letter to my hard drive. I love to have

these short snippets of advice with the results as tried by others.

We used to get those kinds of letters in Prevention Magazine. It was

put onto a disk recording by the National Library Service for the

blind. But now it isn't available anymore. Thanks for your help.

I also have trouble with psoriasis on my elbows and my knees. Anyone

have anything to say on that? I come by it honestly, both my

grandfathers having had it.

I teach at our church's Christian school. The class sizes are small,

but there are several courses to be taught--nine in the fall. My

subjects are grammar, literature, and history. The students are in

grades seven thru twelve. Well, I hope anyone who is disgusted with

the activity on this list tonight hits the delete key.

Once I get launched, it's a bit hard to stop.

Again, thanks so much for your help.

Best,

Penny

p.s. Astragalus is new to me; never heard of it. Where does one

obtain the whey product you spoke of?

Thanks again, Bill.

Penny Golden,

What you want to avoid is eating anything for breakfast or lunch that

converts rapidly to sugar, or any fruitose bearing foods. Your drop of

energy may be tied to that. THis means all refined foods, especially wheat

products that are not whole-wheat(and by that I don't meant what those words

mean on packages).

I find taking Siberian Genseng helps a lot. Astragalus is good also. If you

want to not fill up with junk food and need an extra meal, then take those

powdered whey drinks that weight lifters use.You get a huge jar with dry

powder you mix up into a shake. It gives you instant energy just when your

regular energy is gone, and with no fat. It is almost pure amino acids. No

need to take the fancy whey all gussied up by some dealers.

I find at age 70 that it is better to eat six little meals than the usual

three or two.otherwise I just go to sleep after lunch and dinner like a dog.

Hi Penny,

This is just a quick response from the hip.

Besides knocking off all sweets, I'd recommend a supplement of Spirulina,

Chlorella, and some grasses like Wheatgrass, Barleygrass and Alfalfa. One ounce

of

Wheatgrass juice can cause you to explode with energy.

The above is a Band-Aid of course. For the long run, you'd need to do some

cleansing and get onto an energy building program with a good exercise program

as

well.

Best regards,

Ian
