Echinacea Tincture

 

<P>Made only from organic roots, this herb wakes up and fortifies your

immune system. & nbsp; Echinacea is great for colds, flu, infections, etc.

 

<P>Echinacea stimulates your body to manufacture more immune cells and

more disease fighting immune chemicals. & nbsp; You could almost consider

it like turning on the key to your car. & nbsp; It sends a jolt from your

battery to crank your engine and spark the spark plugs to ignite the

gasoline. & nbsp;

But once your engine’s turned over a few times and it’s running, you release

the key. & nbsp; . . . & nbsp; You build immune cells and immune chemicals

from a good solid food program, and a good juice program. & nbsp; You know,

herbs tell your body what it needs to do but it’s good nutrition that makes

it all happen and happen better, more complete and faster. & nbsp; . . .

A good general rule is to take at least half of the time you use Echinacea

off – like 2 weeks on and 1 week off OR a week on and a week off OR 3 weeks

on (that would be about the limit) and 1 week off. & nbsp; But take a break

from Echinacea.

 

<P>Echinacea boosts immunity, but I’m sorry, if you are smoking cigarettes,

and popping down a six-pack of Bud with a pepperoni pizza, echinacea doesn’t

stand a chance. & nbsp; Let’s get real. & nbsp; Some people don’t like to hear

that. & nbsp; They think these herbs will stand alone. & nbsp; They don't. & nbsp;

There has to be a good foundation of raw - fruits, veggies, grains, seeds

and nuts.

 

<P>Dosages are starting points. & nbsp; I have taken two to five times as

much with no problem. & nbsp; Don’t be afraid of herbs, especially when you

are on a program to handle a serious illness.

 

<P>Echinacea wakes up the immune system, stimulates and enhances the immune

system and increases immune cells and disease fighting chemicals in the

bloodstream.

 

<P>1. If you are well and want to stay healthy, each month use 2 dropperfuls

3 times a day until you use up 2 oz. (this will take about 12 days) and

do this every month along with regular cleansing.

<BR> & nbsp;

<BR>2. If you & nbsp; are feeling a bit off, about to get sick, fighting

something off, double the above dosage to 2 dropperfuls 6 times a day until

you use up 2 oz. & nbsp; You will use about 2 fluid ounces in 7 days.

<BR>3. For sore throat, lung congestion, skin rash or your power is down,

blast 1 dropperful every hour that you are awake. & nbsp; & nbsp; 2 fluid ounces

will last you about 4 days.

<BR>4. If you are really sick, have food poisoning, a fever, you want to

do an immediate aggressive handling. & nbsp; Take one fluid oz. all at once

in a shot glass. & nbsp; Knock it back (or dilute & frac12; oz. in pure water

and 30 min. later dilute and drink another & frac12; oz.) and continue with

2 dropperfuls every waking hour until you use 2 oz. & nbsp; Next day continue

the 2 dropperfuls every waking hour until another 2 oz. are used (total

of 4 oz.)

 

<P>Echinacea Angustifolia is the American standard. & nbsp; Purpurea is the

European standard. & nbsp; Either one works great. & nbsp; I mix them together

sometimes.

Kevin,

 

The best is to buy from a reputable herb resellar. If you can get it in bulk this is the best. Then you can make your own tinctures, or caps using veggie caps. Cheaper in the long run this way and your chances of getting quality echinacea are much better. Now this is just my opinion. However, if you don't wish to go this route then I would suggest getting tincture as it is more concentrated than caps and you don't want pills cause they use all kinds of unpronouncable things in those
