Yes, Koyd, interesting thoughts indeed.

Something I have been intrigued by in recent years is coming across longevity studies that have found that several of the groups around the world that are known for their longevity have several things in common. One is that most of them live in mountainous terrain. Another is that the folks in these societies engage in regular physical exertion. Another is that elders are highly regarded and respected by others in the society. And the one that was of most interest to me was that though only one of the groups was entirely vegetarian the rest were predominantly vegetarian and would eat meat only on ceremonial occasions.

So this is what I am moving toward. Eating meat only occasionally...

There are many different types of raw-foodists. You must be more specific when stating "raw-foodists"Many raw foodsits eat way too much fruit and that is the major cause of their aging. Fructose is a very difficult, the most difficult sugar for the human to metabolise and be healthy with. People like David Wolfe eat large amounts of fruit and it will catch up with them in time. These people are very stimulated and do not exhibit healthy energy or a healthy spirit from what I have read and watched of them. Tomatoes and small amounts of watermelon is as far as I go concerning fruit. I blend the watermelon with raw eggs and the tomatoes I eat with Ezekiel 4:9 bread w/coconut oil and drink some milk after. The fats in the raw eggs, coconut oil and milk have buffer the sugar in the tomato and watermelon so it is digested slowly and does not spike my blood sugar causing an insulin response. The whole goal is not to provoke a strong

insulin response.I spent many years eating a very primitive type diet including much raw red meat and such and did not thrive on it. Now I only can recommend raw glands like thyroid and adrenal and small amounts of raw fish. I now cook my red meat and fowl. It also tastes much better cooked for me.Many raw foodists also age very quickly because they eat so may unsaturated fats from avocado, sunflower seeds, nuts, and designer oil blends or flax oil etc. These foods are disaster's for long term thyroid health and aging. Raw nuts and seeds are also very difficult to digest and God gave them to feed birds and critters. Also good for wood finish.fasting-health- forum@ s.com, Tim Campbell <jtcmpbl > wrote:>> Several raw-foodists I know have aged nicely...>
