Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am new here and have started a juice fast but only for 2 of my 3 meals a day. This is my year to get healthy! I need to lose about 20 lbs, have tried FOREVER but just cant seem to kick these unhealthy eating habits. I just bought a used Champion juicer and I LOVE it! My son, 17, whom I homeschool, we juice all the time now, even he drinks what we juice and loves it. Im trying to take baby steps instead of going full force like I usually do, with my Type A personality Im an all or nothing person and that doesnt work too well with trying to change my eating habits. I usually get SO HUNGRY that I end up eating everything in sight for a few minutes until I pass the craving part and then I feel guilty and stop. ha I have some lower back problems and my job is physically demanding, bending over type job (I do barefoot trims on horses) and I HAVE to get in shape if I plan on continuing to work for years. Im looking forward to learning alot from you people that have been doing the right thing for years and have harvested great health from years of sowing the right things into your life. Blessings, Jill
Guest guest
Hey Jill, Be careful with juice fasting, especially fruit juices. There is lots of fruit sugar concentrated when juicing. They can really cause blood sugar spikes and resulting in microbe infections. I suggest focusing on thyroid health the most. I would read as much as possible on Ray Peat and Lita Lee. We live in a world that really messes up thyroid health. Things like vegetable oils. , " Jill Cherni " <cherni711 wrote: > > Hello everyone, I am new here and have started a juice fast but only for 2 of my 3 meals a day. This is my year to get healthy!
