Guest guest
Good morning - I've just joined for the extra motivation as I plan to begin a raw juice fast today, and will go up to 30 days, depending on how well I do. I have fasted in the past for up to 30 days, but that was quite a few years ago. I'm now 47, and needing to both detox and lose weight post-birth of my last two blessings, who are now 2 and 4. I do a very simplified plan, based on ease of preparation and my likes and dislikes. I always have 1 or 2 grapefruit juiced for breakfast. If I can stomach it, I do carrot and/or other vegetable juices at noon. In the evening I try to juice non-citrus fruits, such as apple, grape, or melons. (I love watermelon or cantaloupe juice, but this isn't the season for them.) I'm jumping right in here, because I need whatever tips I can get. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Linda Congratulations on the start of a juice fast! The best tip I can give is one that you already seem to know, which is to do what is right for you. You'll hear/read countless opinions, but when it comes right down to it, your body is your best guide. If something isn't working for you, you'll know quickly and if it's working right for you and someone else says that's not the way to do it, well...phooey on them. :-) I wish you the best !
