Guest guest
Hello, I'm now at the end of a 6th day of a 7 day WATER ONLY fast. I feel great, ofcourse a little weak..mountain walking is very slow and I can't do my usual manic exercise, LOL! My question is this: I cannot afford a juicer. So I bought organic juice to break my fast...is it ok? I plan to drink a little diluted juice for 3 days and at the end of 3rd day eat an orange, 4th day eat an orange and a kiwi as well as juice. On the 5th day I'm going for all fruits and juices in regular and small amounts. Does this sound ok? I also promised my boss to take a light dinner with him this saturday night...that will be my 4th day after fasting..do you think it'll be ok if I lay off spicey foods and heavy carbs, sticking to soup and veges? I'm sorry, just two more questions!!! 1) My menstruation bleed came early by about 9days..is this because of the fast? Im not worried, if think its good that maybe my natural cycle is breaking through because usually I use birth control pills. 2) I certainly DO NOT fast only to lose weight. That is at a long list of other reasons such as digestive health, mental clarity, prayer and meditation, prevention of disease...etc..you all know the benifits of fasting Im sure! But I am pleased with the slight loss in fat on my body(i was normal weight when I started), and I want to know the best way to keep this off. I know the breaking of the fast is very very important and the weeks after also. Any tips would be appreciated. I wish all fellow fasters luck and love and happiness, please remember, fasting can be uncomfortable but hunger is a natural wonderful feeling and we have the chace to re-create ourselves and change in the ways we want through prayer, firm mindedness and self power. Guest guest
It is recommended to come off a fast slowly. You could have digestive problem if you eat in the middle of a fast. The 3 to 5 day plan is good. By day six you can eat whatever you want.
