However I know of no reason fasting would cause that problem. The ONLY problem I have knowledge of is if a person is low on potassium, then fasting without eating or drinking anything with potassium might cause the potassium level to drop to the critical level. Potassium regulates the heart. The heart could stop if the potassium is too low.
