Guest guest
Hi April Regarding the pulp, there are many raw recipes that call for pulp. These recipes would involve a dehydrator. You can also use the pulp for muffins and other baked items. Here is one site that has more information: http://www.happyjuicer.com/juicing-information/juicer-pulp-uses.aspIf you do an internet search for "uses for juicer pulp" you'll find all sorts of other sites with ideas. As for juicing helping a person become more spiritual, I think any time a person chooses to set food aside and designate a period of time for improving health, it is likely that the person's focus will be shifted. "Becoming more spiritual" is a very individual thing. It means different things to different people. How it happens is something that has to be experienced to be understood. I'm not sure it is something that could be explained. I wish you well on your fasting adventure! Rachel From: nicolateslarulesDate: Tue, 19 Feb 2008 17:20:44 +0000 Newbie with questions about juicing and food pulp questions- spiritual question I am new to fasting and juicing. I am wanting to do a juice fast for 21 to 30 days. This has been difficult to achieve when I have to cook for my family. They arent ready for mostly raw yet. My reasons are for health reasons and to lose weight. After I get to my desired weight, I want to stop just drinking juice and eating a larger portion of raw foods along with some cooked foods. I know that when I start juicing, I will feel guilty about throwing away the pulp. What can I do with the pulp? I was thinking I could use it to help improve the health benefits to the foods I prepare for my family. I dont plan on eating the pulp till I lose weight and my body reshapes itself. My goal is to be as healthy as possible and look good also.I am 5 feet 2 and weigh 155 lbs now. Obviously I need to lose some weigt to be as healthy as possible.AprilPS, I gave read that juicing is beneficial in helping one become more spiritual and some even say it helps the sixth senses improve. How is this possible?
Guest guest
One possible use for the pulp that I thought might be useful for is homemade dog food. I really dont know if this would work but I havent asked people about pulp for dog food. Thanks to everyone who answered so quickly and will answer in the future. Guest guest
For a cheaper juicer the Jack laLane at Costco is a great buy and works good (under $100). Otherwise the top two juicers out their are the champion and the omega. Get whatever juicer you can afford. They all pretty much do the job.
