Guest guest
The best machine I have researched on is the Norwalk juicer. My sister has one, and my dad has a Solorstar. If you go to Ebay, there is always juicers there. herbal remedies , " Kim " <irishgirl75 wrote: > > .I am looking to purchase a juicer. I am sure most of you guys have one, so any suggestions? Guest guest
Hi Kim, I just recently bought a juiceman jr. from Target for around $50. It works well for me. It is easy to clean also. And it doesn't heat the juice. If you're juicing for just yourself it is a good machine, if you're planning to juice for your family and will need a lot of juice you may want to go with something bigger and I'm sure you'll get responses on that. Happy Juicing! Tori

Guest guest
A Jack Lalanne Juicer is $98.00 on sale at Walmart. It has 250 watts of power. http://www.walmart.com/appliance-housewares/kitchen-appliance/juicers/jack-lalannes-power-juicer-deluxe A Hamilton Beach juicer is $29.74 at Walmart. It has 350 watts of power. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2593953 I own the Hamilton Beach one. More wattage and much cheaper. I make homemade lemonade [sweetened with stevia], and I use the skin, seeds, and all. It chops all of it up. My kids love it. We use it every day. Guest guest
Hi, I was thinking of getting the Jack LaLane Juicer myself. Would you give a little more detail about the pro's and con's of this juicer? What if someone likes the pulp and wants to include it in their drink? When you say it shoots all the yuckeys out the back, is there a place where this stuff goes, like a little bucket or container or something? It looked like it was a pretty good machine, but then again, I don't know anyone personally who has one, so your input is good for me to know. Thanks! Guest guest
I just got the Jack LaLaine for my birthday, and wow! The difference from the old beat up thing I had! LOL I'm loving it! And the cool thing about it is, it has an automatic shut off, *IF* it were to begin to heat, it will turn itself off until it's cooled back down. But I used it all afternoon and noticed no heating at all. Just thought I would share my enthusiasm Oh... and the recipe book came with it, it IS carrots, ginger and apple ;o) Love and Blessings to ALL!!! ~Raaven herbal remedies , " Stuck " <Sstuck wrote: > > thanks i think it was apple to sweeten it. > Stuck > - > Jonathan Dale > herbal remedies > Thursday, June 08, 2006 3:50 PM > Re: [lists] Re: Herbal Remedies - Juicer > > > I've had one before that was carrots, ginger & apple. Guest guest
--- In We have used the Jack LaLane and it is good for carrots etc. But it doesn't do greens really well. The juicer we have been using is the Samson. It does carrots and greens well even wheatgrass. Cleanup is easy. The only thing we have found is that the little brush that comes with it doesn't clean the screen really well. We bought a little wire brush that does the job. Guest guest
We've got a champion juicer. It does not use cetrifical force, it grinds the produce. The juice is not heated. The pulp is collected outside the juicer in your own supplied bowl or plastic bag. Easily disposed of or to use in recipes. Guest guest
I am looking for any recommendations on what juice is the best for the money. Any feedback wwould be appreciated.
Guest guest
Sorry-I meant to type juicer. I have done a little research and am leaning towards a cyntrifical juicer with surgical steel blades. I have heard that the motor is important but thought that meant a stronger motor. Now I have read that slower motors extract more nutrients but less with a lower yield. I want to use the juicer for periodic juice fasts and maybe more. I have done numerous types of fasts and cleansing and would like to try juice. As for brand- I get a mixed signal from what I read on the internet as to what is best. I stumbled across this group and thought someone out there with experience could lead me in the right direction. Thanks
