Guest guest
I am getting ready to start my second annual springtime fast and I like to plan what I am going to juice/eat ahead of time so that I have all the fruits and veggies on hand. Last year I fasted for four days, which I know isn't very long compared to some of you, but for me it was quite an accomplishment. Each year I plan to extend it by a few more days. Anyway, I am not much of a fan of vegetable juices and I am trying to find combinations or ways of preparing that I better like in order to help my resolve to fast longer. Nothing worse than having to choke down your only " food " for the day. Anyway, what I thought I might try was to turn the vegetable juice " meals " into soup by heating it up and maybe adding a few spices. But, I didn't know if spices were acceptable during a juice fast or if they were considered to be food. Any thoughts? Thanks.
