Guest guest
Hi fasting friends.. I've been out for a long time. too busy. summer vacation at the beach in jan and now the begining of classes for my students. I'm a tutor and lots of students to take care...finishing a book translation for publishing here in Brazil, anda tesis to get ready for next week, french classes to attend next month.... And I found time to fast.. 4 days of juicefasting as a preparation and on feb 22 I started a waterfasting. must say 2 first days were very tough. felt hungry at meals time and the smell of food was a torture.. but I was tough. Just finished reading Dr Shelton's book and very excited. at day 3 no hunger pains anymore, just like Dr. Shelton said in his book. I cooked lunch bravely. the smell was not so appeling anymore., repulsive I'd say. No tasting before serving and the result was salty food for kids. poor kids.. sunday was day 4. movies with kids was ok, no popcorn, just a bottle of water. I thought it was impossibel, but for the first time i enjoyed the movie theater with my teens and no chewing all the time.. much more healthy.. today is day 5. at 10PM day 6 the begining of day 6. almost there. tong coating is very bad, fool breath. several brushings a day. tiredness come and go like waves. everything is ok and them my arms and legs are too heavy. my eyes close and I have to take a 30 min nap. later keep doing my daily stuff. I'm self-employed, so I can take breaks at day time. At evenings and night I teach from 5.30 to 10.30, so I rest in the afternoon. the greater news... wed 22 weight 75 kilos, sunday 25... 71 kilos... never lost so much in so little time. very excited about loosing weight. Acording to Dr. Shelton fasting starts at the firs meal lost and ends when hunger comes . lenght is very personal as toxic levels vary from one to other. after cleasing, comes regenerations and retracing. very good. I'm looking forward fot the young tissus, just build up... I'm 45 and it's gonna be good feeling energetic aagain as in my 20's. so I can go on with my favorite activities.. I keep on with my swimming and Swásthya Yôga three times a week. mond, wed and frid. didn't fell so tired so I went on. I've been swimming 1.500 to 2.000m as usual. I felt energetic and strong during practices, but of course after I had to take a 30minutes nap. more news in some days ok?? it's time to go to bed.I know I'll get up several times at night for translation work since during the fast not too much sleep is needed. It's been like this the last 4 nights. thank you all for sharing... love Elia Regina Elia Regina
