Guest guest
Hi Sharrhan, Thanks for the welcome. How do you fast? How do you keep warm when fasting in cold weather like this? Nice to meet someone so close to home. Mona - Sharrhan Williamson Monday, February 05, 2007 10:12 AM Re: I'm new here... Hi Mona!-- and welcome. I did low carb for a few years too, with similar results. I live in Massachusetts, not too far away from you. Fasting is a wonderful way to rejuvenate, heal and lose weight, so you've come to the right place! ;-) Sharrhan Hello, I'm new here. I found you by looking for a group about Paul & Patricia Bragg and their teachings. This group's address popped up. I have just bought & begun reading "The Bragg Healthy Lifestyle" & have already started using ACV & started making changes in my diet. I am mailing off an order for all 10 of the health books they have in print. I'm 48 years old and finally ready to make some healthy changes in my life. I've lived for the past few years on the Atkins Low-Carb diet, in an effort to lose weight...but with little success & a number of health problems, including: constipation, acne, headaches, depression and so on, not to mention the fact that I did not lose any weight!! I'm looking for other health-minded people here in my own state. Anyone here from Maine? Mona in Maine Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together. Guest guest
Hi-- I am juice fasting right now, though sometimes I water fast (warm weather only!, usually on a camping trip). It's hard to keep warm, but my apartment is pretty warm and I try not to go outside a lot while fasting. Juice fasting is much easier-- even pleasant during any season. Where are you in Maine? I'm right next to Boston in Cambridge. Shar Hi Sharrhan, Thanks for the welcome. How do you fast? How do you keep warm when fasting in cold weather like this? Nice to meet someone so close to home. Guest guest
Thanks. I just hit 24 hours and am going to eat an apple. I think I'll stick to short fasts until warm weather too. I am living just out side of August...about 30 minutes in from the coast.
