Broke my Fast

I didn't have any water (only tap) and situations turned so I would

have to drive. (Will be taking the Bus) So I broke my fast. I'm going

to go buy allot of water tomorrow, and some more juice, and start over.

My fiance has agreed to help me with my fast in whatever way I might

need. I've also decided to keep a journal of my fast on my 360 page,

http://360./useyourthorns , if anyone wants to check in and

see how I'm doing.

I plan on eating one veggie soup meal each morning, and drinking lots

of water, and juice for my other " meals " .

I felt so depressed before I started my fast, and the second day all

my depression was gone and I started to detox. I'm dissapointed to

have to have broken it, but I was going to be in no good condition to

drive today and tomorrow(would have been day four). I will start my

fast tommorrow, and plan on riding the bus the rest of the week.

Any suggestions or stern warnings will be welcome. (And support to,

as I have a hard time getting past day 3 even when I don't have to go

anywhere or do anything big.

Laughter,

Allegra

Hi Allegra, Don't feel bad-- we've all quit fasts before, and it's just part of the game of life. Sometimes it works out, and other times it's just doesn't fit, and you have to postpone it to a more auspicious time. You're doing great!! Keep us posted on your progress. How did you break your fast? Remember that can be as if not more

important than the fast itself. An improperly broken fast can lead to

sickness and even death from a long term water fast.

Hi Allegra, I am a bit confused as to why you are going to eat a bowl of soup each morning, breaking your fast once a day with solid food - what is the reasoning for the solid food? That is good that you are not going to be using tap water - good decision!!!! What kind of juice are you planning on having? 100% juice, or some other? Thanks for the share, and I look forward to seeing you post again. jojo WaterFasting http://health.WaterFasting/Allegra <useyourthorns wrote: I didn't have any water (only tap) and situations turned so I wouldhave to drive. Opps. Sorry I was a bit consusing in my message.I was doing a juice fast, using 100% juice from the healthfood store. (Called "Simply Nutritious, Mega Green") Ingredients: Apple Juice, Peach puree, Pinaple Juice, Banana and Mango purees, spirulina, locust bean, carrageenan, ascorbic acid, broccoli and spinach powder. I might get another kind, because I'd really like to get organic juice. The soup... Ok the soup was intended for the first couple of days of my fast in order to ease me into it. I made it at home, all fresh ingredients. No salt or butter or oil. Carrot, Celery, Cucumber, and broccoli and rosemary for more flavor. I've tried

strait Juice fasting in the past, but got too severe symptoms. (Really bad headaches and cramps, instead of just bad headaches and cramps, and I got extremely cranky.) My challenge right now is that I volunteer south of town twice a week, and I have to drive to get there. So I have to work my fast around that, and this week a BUNCH of driving sprung up on me. (Offered a couch way out yonder, gotta pick it up with my van.) Looking like I'll be able to try again next week near Yule. For filters, I have money constrictions. Last week my food budget was $10, if that gives you an idea about what I might be able to afford. I can afford anything less than $40, so I was thinking one of those reverse osmosis things that go on the faucet.. thoughts?
