Guest guest
I just started a fast, this is my second day. I am not doing a total fast, but juice, with one bowl homemade veggie soup in the morning. (Carrot, Broccolie, Cucumber, Rosemary, and a very little cayenne peper.) Green juice, and green or herbal tea. This morning I woke up in the at 4AM, very unusual for me. I have aches and pains, which I expected, and nausea, which I did not expect. My face also broke out in the night, so now I have an alba mud mask on to try and soak up any bad stuff thats surfacing there. (And I took a nice relaxing bath.) One concern I has, is that I have city water. (Bleach..) I plan on riding the bus to Meijers in the morning and buying some water, until then I have been drinking tap water. (Which I think may be why I have nausea. I'm " cheating " this morning and having a small bowl of brown rice to try and help slow things down a bit, if I am having a major flush of junk. Advice, tips, or screams of " don't do that you fool! " would be appreciated. Laughter, Allegra
Guest guest
You are correct, don't use tap water!!! Ever!!! Buy a water filter or distiller, or reverse osmosis, whatever you can afford. But don't waste your money on the brita/pur pitcher filters that need replacements every month. I have read a lot on water and there is no toxin free tap water in this country. , " Allegra " <useyourthorns wrote: > > I just started a fast, this is my second day. Guest guest
Hi Allegra, I'm on the second day of a fast too, and I now have a big pimple on my chin. (Cute-- makes me feel like a teenager again.) I fasted this past summer I got nauseated on a couple occasions, and at first it freaked me out. But it soon passed. Hopefully your healing crises will come in little waves that you'll be able to handle. I usually get sick to my stomach on the third day of a water fast, and it's at that point that I decide whether to go on or do something less drastic. I think I'm going to make it this time, as so far I feel great. Best wishes for a successful and enjoyable fasting expereince! Guest guest
Allegra, You are most likely de-toxing, and I would venture to say that these symptoms are quite normal. Make sure that you are drinking ALOT of water, as that will help to flush the toxins, etc. jojo WaterFasting http://health.WaterFasting/ Sharrhan Williamson <sharrhanw wrote: Hi Allegra, I'm on the second day of a fast too, and I now have a big pimple on my chin. Guest guest
Also, what most people don't consider is that bottled water often comes from the same source as someone elses tap water. If you realy want pure the only way to go would be distilled water. , " nature_luver333 " <revcarson wrote: > > You are correct, don't use tap water!!! Ever!!! Guest guest
Where can I get distilled water?- Allegra P.S. I'm gonna go do some research on water filters.. I now I need one that removes clorine, and that doesn't have to be replaced ever day. Other consideration is the fact that I'm broke. Any suggestions?smartgirl27us <thesmartfamily3 Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 12:50:38 PM Re: Just started a fast, and feel sick! Guest guest
Hi Allegra, I drink distilled water. You can buy it at Wal-Mart for around 59 cents a jug. I am sure your local supermarket would have it also. Bonnie In , Allegra C <useyourthorns wrote: > > Where can I get distilled water? > > - Allegra > P.S. Guest guest
Good Point! Alot of people don't realize this, and think that they are getting something better than tap water because it is bottled. jojo WaterFasting http://health.WaterFasting/smartgirl27us <thesmartfamily3 wrote: Also, what most people don't consider is that bottled water often comes from the same source as someone elses tap water.
