Guest guest
After doing many Master Cleanses over the last several years I finally did a water fast. I first did 3 months of raw food and then started with 3 days of the MC lemnonade and then did a 3-day water fast. It was much harder than I expected. The first water night I felt like I had the flu, very very restless with hot/cold flashes and nausea. It kept me up a good deal of the night. The rest of the time off an on, it was like a milder flu but I definetly should have been hanging out on the couch or in bed most the time. I should not have been working. Anyhow just thought I would add to the collective. The water might detox faster but not near as fun as the MC.
Guest guest
I can so relate to you. I did a 3 day water and then 30 day juice in March but then did a 7 day water with 23 days of juice. I was so sick - it is the flu with lightheaded, headaches, dizzy, achy. I will do things so different when I do a water of that length or longer. I need to allow my body the healing time and not carry on with business as usual. It was not as healing of a time as it will be on future ones because it needed to be a time of to rest more. I wasn't expecting the intensity but it is physically doing wonders on the body to heal it and dump. It is very hard but very effective. I juiced fruits and vegetables as well as the lemon, apple, garlic, ginger and cayanne pepper drinks. Good for you. Each time I do it I make better choices and changes to heal faster.
