Guest guest
Hi, I joined this group a few months ago with the intention of becoming more concious about the food I ate and with the hope I could successfully fast. Its been a longer process than I thought, I had hoped to be fasting by now. But I have experimented with specific fasts, i.e. sugar, wheat, dairy etc. and I have been on a total " fast " from ant-depressants for 1 month now. It is because the effects of withdrawing from the anti-d's have been so strong that I have not yet fasted. But now I am gearing up, starting to drink more " Green Smoothies " (which I am astonished to say, I love!). My next step is to replace all food with these smoothies and then ease into a water fast. I am going to take my time, and not set too many deadlines on myself but am aiming for the end of March for a total fast. I just want to thank everyone in the group for posting, I read every day and it is an enormous support in this journey. I can't wait to post that I have successfully started my fast. Thanks again, Joanna
Guest guest
Joanna, your approach to fasting sounds so right. Your detox should be much less painful when you do go into your water fast. You may even want to consider a few days of juice before going directly to water. Keep the faith - you will succeed - and congratulations on your new healthy diet. jann - denverHttp://www.TwoCompassionateHands.com When shopping online, please consider Two Compassionate Hands. 25% of all profits generated from the Market Place on this site are donated to non-profit organizations dedicated to end hunger, suffering and injustice in the world.
