Guest guest Posted January 17, 2006 Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 I have been reading up on longer fasts to make sure to not use any deodorant or antiperspirant as they introduce chemicals into the bloodstream while it trying to do housecleaning. Sometimes I suffer from jock itch and I was wondering since this was a medicine if this would be alright to use while on a fast. Also, I have about dry brushing. What type of brush is used for this? I think mine is boars hair. Someone told me k-marts bath section has some. its a back brush with a removable handle made of wood. Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Guest guest Posted January 17, 2006 Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 antipersperants have aluminum clorhydrate and other bad chemicals in them that can be absorbed into the body and cause problembs. people in the super health world (not me) never use anti persperants ever because of the bad chemicals and get deoderants from the health food store. its a known thing since the 70,s during a fast the body is even more sensative to such chemicals and we want poisons going out not in. Ive been using for 15 yrs. very effective. you can buy at the health food store. about 8.oo last for several yrs. neutralise's bacteria.
