Hi Mike ~

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to check out the website that you gave me, and also am thinking about e-mailing the woman you spoke of.

I just seen a copy of Paul Braggs book the other day in a store - I may go back and pick it up! There are so many books out there, I am never sure which ones to spend money on, but when someone recommends one, that makes a difference; thanks. I plan to go to his website, also, and do some reading. Is he the one who has "Braggs Liquid Amino?" (I may have spelled that wrong.)

Well, you are the 2nd person who I have "talked to" that recommends a water fast. I guess that I have just been afraid of them in the past, but now am thinking maybe I should check into the. One thing I wonder about is, because I work full-time in a factory doing production, my job at times can be pretty labor-intensive, and I guess that I am paranoid about not being able to keep up my energy and stamina on a water-fast only, if you know what I mean.

Well all for now. Thanks again for your feedback!

Paul Braggs The Miracle of fasting available quite inexpensively less then 10 bucks atwww.bragg.com is in my opinion the best newbees training manual to self do a fast. Juice fasts interfere with sugar levels and if you are going to do it do a water fast. Do it right not half assed and just try a day or two to start. If you are on some medications fasting may be contraindicated. If you are going to fast in any manner bingeing afterwards is going to make it worse. If you fast your activity level must increase afterwards or you are going to put the weight and then some back on quicker then before.when you brake a fast do it with a raw vegetable salad such as cole slaw and grated carrots. But there is something I want you to know as a overweight person who has hit 245 and now hovers around 200 consistantly with a short period of fasting when I start drifting up.Processed foods are built

that way. Everything from fries to potato chips are chemically built to grab you and make you want to eat lots.An overweight person is starving for nutrition as surely as an African with no food because there is no nutrition left in them or very little.Another woman who has a similar problem with overweight is atwww.getwellstaywellamerica.com read her story and consider her book the Health Seekers Yearbookher email is victoriabidwellI'm sure if you just email her and tell her your story shemay have much better info than me to offer. Good luck.Raw foods fruits and vegetables are your friends and it is veryhard to gain weight when you snack on them. Mike
