Guest guest
Why? It's written by a medical insurance company. They certainly don't want us to be well. A better place to read medical information is http://www.mercola.com/ Am alternate approach to health. Our family has no health insurance and don't plan on having any. We take responsibility for our health BEFORE we get sick. Americans are brainwashed into thinking that a doctor can make us well or drugs can make us well. Not true. Only your body can keep/make itself well. That is why we do not eat meat or cook our food. We fast 4 times a year and get plenty of rest, sunshine, fresh air and exercise. There hasn't been a drug in our house since 1983 and that includes antibiotics! Guest guest
Shari Im glad you think as I do. I too have no use for doctors. I Fix myself. My dad is 74. all that is in his medicine cabinet is shaving supplies. when I took him to the hospital to get stiches they asked him what medicines he was taking . when he said none they laughed and thought he was kidding. its funny how they expect you to be on something at that age. He eats healthy ONLY gets lots of exercise and he is a faster also. My daughter is 17 and never had an over the counter medicine. I let her have her fevers which were short lived and I let her have her cough with no surpressive medicines . no sugar for that kid. she is 17 and not one cavity. what 17 year old can say that. ? You make me happy that I a not alone in healthy choices..... Jennie

Guest guest
Way cool Jenny! My kids were 1 & 2 and the doctor wanted to put them another prescription of amoxicillan and I asked what would happen if I didn't. He told me to never come back if I didn't use the drugs. Haven't been back to an md for 21 years now. Oops, except when I broke my arm! Have you ever investigated Natural Hygiene? I'm taking their "The Life Science" course and in it it says: "perfect health will exist if our living practices are correct." AND "...disease is abnormal, unnatural and, therefore, unnecessary." "Diseases are caused by............pollution of the body with substances not normal to it." duh - drugs! Anyway, I could go on and on but I'll stop with this. Your daughter sounds lovely and is probably one of the most down to earth, sensible young women in her class. Congratulations on a job well started! Guest guest
You are welcome Tim. If anyone is interested there are many discussion groups similar to this that are specifically about the raw food lifestyle. It is definetely not a diet, but a way of life.
