Fasting and Colors

This may sound strange but has anyone else noticed an increased sensitivity to colors during a fast? I once went to a Cowboy game (of all places...ugh) during a fast and was over loaded by all the colors.

I found it very interesting. As strange as it may seem to some folks I suspect that our bodies miss the color intake as well...

I know! When I first fasted, I'd think about food all the time and look thru magazines for pictures of food. Mmmmmm... And of course, when I'm fasting is when I realize just how many food commercials are on TV. There everywhere! David

I haven't noticed the color thing, (perhaps I haven't fasted long

enough), but I remember during my first weeklong fast I took my boys

to an Oakland A's game and they bought some garlic fries and teased

me with them.

It was terrible. ;^D

Hi Tim,

I experience the same thing and not only with color but all of my

senses become magnified. I think the smells of things are the most

overwhelming because I notice so much more than I normally do.

Because of that I can't go into grocery stores or hospitals and no

where near bathrooms that are not my own.

I agree Nakota...I find, during a fast, I can't go into an ordinary grocery store but I can handle Whole Foods...it's not as toxic I suppose.

I guess you never can tell about something until you go on a fast.

Let's hope health inspectors never start fasting...lol.
