In general the gums will tighten up while the body is in fasting mode, but will loosen if you are eating a starvation diet indicated by hunger, typically caused because the person is snacking on tea or vitamins. If you fast correctly you'll experience little or not hunger. however, ==DO NOT== have teeth drilled and filled while fasting!! Those " silver fillings " are 50 mercury which is extremely toxic and the body is much more vulnerable to toxins while fasting, it can make you very sick. It is best to have a glass of regular milk before having teeth drilled because milk helps to absorb heavy metals and carry them out of the body, that is before the body can fully absorb them when it becomes very difficult to get them out. This has been known to lead workers for over a century and modern science has confirmed it. I'd get my teeth fixed before fasting. > 2 how much water do u drink? or do u juice fast? If you are thirsty or your urine is dark drink more. Be sure to drink un- chlorinated water. Distilled water is considered the best for fasting. If your urine is very clear you are drinking too much. The digestive system has to work to process water too, but far less than food. The reason for a complete fast is to turn the body's resources completely over to internal cleansing. But a complete fast should only be attempted by an experienced faster. You can help the body get some of this effect while water fasting by limiting your water intake to a few times a day instead of sipping water all day long. > 3 when do u stop? when all disease symtoms disapper?/ In general you should keep your first fasts short, about 3 to 5 days. With each fast your body will get better at burning fat faster. You also need to develop the discipline to do fasts correctly. If you do a long fast incorrectly it can cause serious damage to your health. Once you feel great doing short fasts you're ready to try longer ones. You should also do some juice fasting before attempting water fast, because you must juice fast before and after a water fast to make it safe and effective. Eating cooked food too soon after a long water fast can make you very sick. Eating cooked food soon after a 30 day fast will make you dead, literally. Juice fasting should be done with ONLY freshly made juice, not bottled or canned. Only fresh, uncooked foods contain enzymes. It is much easier for the body to convert these enzymes into digestive enzymes than it is to make them from scratch. Cooking destroys enzymes. All cooked food is devoid of enzymes. The reason we hear so little about enzymes from the mainstream is because virtually all foods that can be owned and specifically advertised are processed foods which contain no enzymes, and virtually all foods that contain enzymes anyone can grow. There's no advertising money for the big networks in enzymes. There's a lot of money to be made in " variety " . If you are hungry while juice fasting it means your are on a " starvation diet " , which means your body is loosing good tissue. While juice fasting on freshly made juice you may discover your appetite shrinks considerably. This is because all your nutritional needs are met. It is at this point you can begin a water fast and the body will go almost immediately into fasting mode instead of the typical 3 days of hunger that occurs when your last meal was cooked foods. > perhaps u can give us more links 4 info on fasts-=- The two books on fasting i can recommend: Fasting and Eating for Health : A Medical Doctor's Program for Conquering Disease -- by Joel Fuhrman, Neal D.
