Guest guest
HI! I read the article but nowhere does it state that coffee has an outer shell and a harder inner one and that the beans are cleaned & washed very well. Any pesticides would settle in the shells, not the beans. So I still think buying organic coffee is a waste of money...although I'm of the opinion that everyone and everything still should be grown organic. Guest guest
Cleaning doesn’t completely wash away the pesticides, just like with fruits. Guest guest
I will passionately disagree with you!! Tests of cellulose cells of plants that pesticides have been used on, have the chemicals through out the entire organism, from the root to the stem, to the leaves, to the pollen and flower and the seed. Which in this case is the coffee been. The chemical compounds do not break down very easily as they are not designed to. And we as humans are effected by these chemicals. Most of the residue of pesticides cause damage to our nervous and digestions systems. So you can go ahead and eat none organic, but I do not if I have a choice. These chemicals do not have such a severe impact on the body, but you have to supplement some thing into your diet and follow a diet that is going to support the natural chelation. These supplements are necessary to help the body to naturally chelate the toxins and heavy metals out of the body. These supplements consist of a broad spectrum of soil borne organisms and minerals.
