Guest guest
Hello, posting is encouraged! Tomorrow I start a new diet which will hopefully be a new way of life. It's very difficult for me to avoid the foods I know I shouldn't be eating. I work with mentally handicapped people in the community, taking them wherever they need or want to go and this includes Sub Shops, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, etc. so my dillemma is that I'm addicted to carbs, etc, and I have to sit and watch someone eat all those foods. Sigh. I love my job and don't want to leave it but I have to lose 50 pounds. So if anyone wants to join me I'll be doing a slightly modified version of the anticandida diet which is mainly meat and veggies. I want to limit the meats. I would also like to juice veggies a lot. I will not be having refined sugar, no grains of any kind (anti-candida) and low milk. I need your support if you are willing! I will also be making a food diary; I've heard many people say it helps them to write things down. We'll see. Welcome to the new members. Anyone come across a good article, send the link. Thanks, Kelly
Guest guest
Hi, Kel. I will join you! I also have candida and lupus. I don’t need to lose weight, but I’ll be doing the diet for health reasons. I am also addicted to carbs and sugar! I think because they give me quick energy and I’m always tired. But, I read that an addiction to carbs is really the body crying out for more greens! You might want to limit your dairy to yogurt only, since other forms of dairy feed the candida. Good luck to both of us! Amelia On Behalf Of kellykebby Wednesday, October 14, 2009 9:09 PM Hello All. Hello new members Hello, posting is encouraged! Guest guest
I am a new member. My problem is so different from that of most people. I recently lost 25% of my weight 30 lbs but it was due to a dairy intolerance and several months of upset innards which is no way to do it voluntarily but now although having given up all dairy my innards have settled down but I am not able to gain any of the weight back and I need at least an additional 10 lbs. If I eat between meals I ruin my appetite (which is poor anyway). I am NEVER hungry and have to force myself to eat as I know that I'll get sick if I don't. I stay under 90 lbs and although I am only just over 5' tall (I've shrunk as I am 82) it is not enough and I am scrawny. Irene , " kellykebby " <kellykebby wrote: > > Hello, posting is encouraged! Guest guest
I am fairly new to the group, but have over 8 years clinical experience with the craving issue you talk about. More than not, the cravings are the actually from the candida loading. You body is starving for nourishment because the candida is getting at the food before our bodies can, and the candida gives off several different caustic acids that may be leading to the Lupus issue.I have a book that you can view and download from my web site www.mbsre-set.com, called "Candida-The Underlying Cause of the Unconscious Conspiracy Against Our Health". This book is a result of over 20 years of illness and 8 years of research and clinical experience.Wil Spencer VMSP, Naturopath"ameliagerlach" <ameliagerlach Sent: Thu, October 15, 2009 6:30:55 AMRE: Hello All. Guest guest
Do you have any physical pain anywhere? This upset you talk about may have had a severe trauma to your endocrine system. So anything you eat may not be used as food and get passed on through. In my clinical experience there is more things to ask to get to the bottom of the deal. In your case, the practitioner needs to be a detective and a forensic expert to get in a find out the things that may be leading to the issues.Wil Spencer VMSP, NaturopathIreneF <meandmy2cats Sent: Thu, October 15, 2009 8:12:32 AM Re: Hello All.
