Guest guest
Please look at this video about how something very simple (adequate vitamin D levels) can prevent cancer, autoimmune disease, diabetes and many other serious diseases. You will be shocked! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ-qekFoi-o & feature=player_embedded Amelia
Guest guest
Hi Amelia, there are not many studies because it takes a while, but I have no doubt vitamin D levels affect health greatly. Thanks for the video! How much and what brand of vit. D do you take, if any? I live in PA, this year we only had two really warm sunny weeks and I felt much better during this time. The winters here last almost 6 months. Kelly
Guest guest
I take Nature’s Plus D2, 1600 IU, which is not the ideal form. The best form to take is cholecalciferol (D3), but for some weird reason that I can’t figure out (other than the fact that Vitamin D is really a pre-hormone, rather than a vitamin), it gives me migraines. If anyone in this group knows how someone like me (with lupus) can take D3 without getting a migraine, I’ll be indebted to you forever! No, seriously, any insights would be greatly appreciated. Kel, I know by reading many books, that vitamin D helps tremendously with autoimmunity and inflammation, not just to prevent cancers. Amelia On Behalf Of Kelly W.
