Guest guest
Tiffany, Glad you ALL are home, safe and sound! Times sure have changed. I used to work on Labor/Delivery floor in a small hospital back in the 70's and we all TRIED to get the mothers to nurse. There was also a doctor on staff who thought the other doctors were doing too many C-Sections.

Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I'd like to ask if anyone has any testimony they would like to share relating to treating illness with diet and supplements. I am especially interested in those of you who are approaching the treatment of cancer naturally. I am here to learn as well as to be a support. This is a place for people who are dealing with the same issues to come together and brainstorm as well as to support one another. No one should be alone esp. when they are battling an illness. Thank you, please speak up and share your trials and successes! Kelly
Guest guest
I do not take any prescription medicine and I am fighting a dairy intolerance for sure and possibly gluten though I am beginning to feel that that is not so. Most of my intestinal problems are long standing as I am almost 82 and I've had trouble since I had polymyalgia about 15 years ago. That was the beginning of the upsets which were occasional to begin with but have increased in severity and frequency I was widowed three years ago and so now I am living alone for the first time in my life. Part of the problem and very difficult to accept after a marriage of 51 years. you just have to deal with 'what is' I know that intellectually but not emotionally. I am very much opposed to Big Pharma and allopathic medicine and I also believe that natural medicine is being deliberately suppressed. No gastro specialist ever identified my dairy intolerance in spite of several colonoscopies but an alternative nutritionist was the person who first mentioned it to me. I'm sure that alternative methods of fighting cancer are working better than chemotherapy and there really has not been any improvement in treatment for a very long time. Guest guest
Hi Irene, thank you for responding. You are a strong woman! I'm sure it was so very hard to lose someone after such a long time. Thank you for being a part of the group. Sometimes, these dietary allergies actually don't show up until the next day, like arthritis the day after someone eats wheat. I have diarrhea if I eat any egg but free range. Thanks again! Keep posting! Kel
Guest guest
I'm very fussy about the quality of my eggs and I will only buy free range, you can sure tell the difference. I have one suggestion, I have no sign of arthritis anywhere and I have a damaged knee, bone on bone from a car accident in 1966. I use the crystal form of MSM which is an organic sulphur, I was offered a knee replacement which I refused as that knee though stiff is not painful. I put a little MSM in all my beverages all day long. Irene On Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 5:35 PM, Kelly W. <kellykebby wrote: Hi Irene, thank you for responding. You are a strong woman! Guest guest
There is something wrong with this site. The "Reply" and the "Start a new topic" is not working. Brenda I just wanted to say to Irene. That is great. I am 61 and I am on no medication either. That is unusual these days. Brenda - Irene Francisco Friday, September 25, 2009 7:27 PM Re: Hi Everyone! Guest guest
I personally believe that the side effects are too serious. How many poor seniors are woozy with medication and then they fall and break a hip and that is the beginning of the end for them. I have fallen several times but I am either lucky or else I eat right but my bones don't break although I only weigh 90 lbs so I'm pretty puny. Guest guest
Sorry about the long post, but this wouldn't trim. I'm 62 and only on BP medication and want off that! I'm overweight, but I'm in good health. I'm never sick, and haven't been for years and then it was with stomach crud or sinusitis. I hate taking medication and belive with all my heart that natural healing is the way to go! I have family members that run to the family for sneezes practically and I tell them they are wrecking their natural immune systems. I have a sister friend who has Sjogrens disease. I'm an interested in hearing from anyone who has this and fights it with natural remedies. In case you don't know it's an auto immune disease. Speaking of natural healing is anyone familiar w/Limu? Nope, I'm not a dealer, but I highly believe in it. Fredna --- On Sat, 9/26/09, Irene Francisco <meandmy2cats wrote: Irene Francisco <meandmy2catsRe: Hi Everyone! Guest guest
Hi, I take Michaels Blood PressureFactors which is some vitamins and a proprietory blend of natural products. When my BP was measured by a doctor I just saw (alternative) it was fine though I am prone to get nervous and have numbers that can go very high on my home gadget that maybe isn't reading right. I have the opposite problem than you because I have lost 30 lbs and I'd like to get 10 of it back. Mine was caused by a dairy intolerance and loose bowels so I am probably not assimilating my food properly michaelshealth.com On Sat, Sep 26, 2009 at 11:13 AM, Fredna Hall <junegypsy47 wrote: Sorry about the long post, but this wouldn't trim.
