Guest guest
Hi Kelly, Amelia, Gina, everyone! You guys are still here! I am the one who has been missing in action. I started having so many problems with , I just stopped using my account. Then I was going through my phone contact info and came across Kelly's number and thought to call it to see if it was still good! I decided to try to find the group here first. I have kept in touch with Doreen but no one else really. Is Dan still here? It's good to have found you guys again, as long as doesn't frustrate me into leaving again! I'm not on any msn groups anymore either. I like multiply now. Renee
Guest guest
Hi Renee, how are you? It's good to hear from you. Yes, Dan, Amelia, and Gina are still here. They pop in from time to time. The group has about 150 members now but it is still a very quiet group. We all have the same goals I think - detoxing mind and body. We are all on the same page. Hope you are well. Guest guest
Hi, Renee!! So good to hear from you! Yes, we’re still here…working towards becoming healthier…slow but sure! I wanted to take this opportunity to inform everyone about a new therapy called “low dose Naltrexone”. If you google it, you’ll find all sorts of information. It is showing amazing promise for fibromyalgia, depression, all sorts of autoimmune problems, chronic Lyme and all the “weird” diseases we all struggle with. I am taking it and so is my son and we’re experiencing great results. If anyone wants any more specific info (after reading what’s on the web), feel free to email me privately or on this forum. Take care, Amelia On Behalf Of Kelly W. Thursday, February 19, 2009 9:55 PM Re: Wow! You guys are still here~! Hi Renee, how are you? It's good to hear from you. Guest guest
Hi everyone. I haven't been posting regularly but I am determined to change that. For the new people, I am still of the belief that systemic candida plays a major roll, if not THE major roll, in autoimmune diseases. Women who have had children are at the highest risk for autoimmune diseases and the highest incidence of candida. I'm working on staying away from foods which promote the growth of candida, like sugar, simple carbs, and estrogen containing foods ( Soy, animal fats, chocolate) . Estrogen promotes the growth of candida. I feel so much better when I eat lean meat and veggies only, but I'd really like to be a person who doesn't eat meat at all. Please feel free, as always, to post your triumphs and struggles here. I have lost 6 pounds and have about 40 or 50 to go. I have been working out at the Y, starting out slowly. I get sick and arthritic if I sweat too much. Anyway, peace to all. Hope to hear from you. Kel
Guest guest
It's good to be back here with you guys. I am still cancer free after seven years now. My daughter, Noelle, now 8 yrs. old, has never had her teratoma come back. In fact, since they removed the tumor when she was 3 days old, she hasn't ever been sick at all, not even with a cold. I will have to tell Doreen to come back and at least say hello. I want to check out that naltrexone, Amelia. I have a friend who has lupus, although her doctors have no clue what to call it. She has all kinds of problems. Her youngest daughter was also born with cancer and has some kind of degenerative spinal disease. She just recently told me that her father was a Vietnam veteran, who had a lot of exposure to agent orange. Maybe this can help her. She is very into natural healing and I have told her about this group. I will get her to join when she gets her internet back. Renee , <ameliagerlach wrote: > > Hi, Renee!! So good to hear from you! Guest guest
Kel, I think you are so right about Candida! In fact, regarding the low dose Naltrexone that I mentioned, they say it won’t work if the person has Candida. I found this cool website about how to get rid of Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu2.php She does say to go SLOWLY though…that’s what I’m trying to do right now. It’s very hard changing habits plus the body will have crazy symptoms from die-off, as I’m sure you are aware! Blessings, Amelia On Behalf Of Kelly W. Friday, February 20, 2009 3:27 PM RE: Wow!
