Guest guest
I’ve come to think that I’m hypersensitive to the Vitamin D itself, because when I take any form, it causes a “lupus flare” in me, the same as the sun itself does (migraine, joint and muscle pains, fatigue, etc.). That is really weird to me, because I’ve heard how Vitamin D is supposed to help people with autoimmunity. I am hypersensitive to everything, though, any chemicals, many foods, etc. I think I’m going to try very small amounts of cod liver oil. I’ll let you know how that works. Anyone who helps me solve this crazy puzzle would be my hero for life! Regards, Amelia
Guest guest
well, i am currently trying to adopt an anticandida diet. One of the things candida (systemic) does is makes you hypersensitive to things. Estrogen promotes the growth of candida and I think this is why so many women have lupus symptoms. The body reacts to candida but the doctors can't see candida. Anyway, Have you tried the chewable calcium and vitamin D supplements? They make me a little nauseous. Perhaps you could take one and bite it in half to try. Sorry you get the migraines. I don't do well with headaches. Take care, Kel
Guest guest
Yes, I am also going to try to do the anti-candida thing. Which program do you follow for that, Kel? I will also try the calcium. Thanks, Amelia On Behalf Of Kelly W. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 7:11 AM Re: Vitamin D well, i am currently trying to adopt an anticandida diet. Guest guest
I want you to try something that has just done wonders for me. I don't think there's any risk to it as it is a folk remedy that has cured my sensitive intestines. I actually have a web site promoting this but I will tell you about it and if it works you can write a testimonial perhaps (hehe). A friend from Honduras is the one who convinced me to try it. You buy the little lemons from a hispanic store they are only about about an inch or so in diameter and more sour than the lemons we buy. They may call them key limes but they are really lemons. You take FIVE of them and sqeeze the juice and add a little salt!! weird right, but then you hold your nose and chug it down, do that twice a day. It alkalizes your system, you'd think it would be acid but it isn't. It may not help you at all but it may. If you look at the Alkalize site it's amazing what a difference it makes and it cures many different problems On 10/21/08, Amelia Gerlach <ameliagerlach wrote: I've come to think that I'm hypersensitive to the Vitamin D itself, because when I take any form, it causes a " lupus flare " in me, the same as the sun itself does (migraine, joint and muscle pains, fatigue, etc.).
