I have an excellent book that I've had for years but there are newer versions of it out. Prescription for Natural Healing by a brother and sister I believe James F and Phyllis A Balch, an MD and a CNC whatever that signifies. My copy says that you will get Vitamin D by exposing the face and arms to the sun for 15 minutes three times a wek ( no sun lotion or anything else just expose your bare skin. Also Fish liver oils, fatty saltwater fish, eggs, cod liver oil (ugh), dandelion greens (double ugh), halibut, liver, oatmeal, salmon, sardines, sweet potatoes, tuna, and vegetable oils. Herbs, alfalfa, horsetail, nettle and parsley. So you do have a choice if you can't take a supplement.

I've taken a ton of them over the years and I'm in good shape for 81 except for lack of strength in my legs because I sit in front of this computer too much, (and dislike housework !!!). Suddenly I'm dairy and soy intolerant and I can't handle the supplements either because if I take too many i get diarrhea so I have to look to getting them out of food also, so I buy Omega 3 brown eggs (eggs are now known to be very good for you and will not contribute to high cholesterol because they have lecithin to take care of that) and I only eat natural food avoiding anything processed as much as possible. That means avoiding anything that comes in a box pretty much.

I hope this information helps, if you know anyone else with intestinal problems give them my web address please.

No thankfully I don't have any swelling in my ankles and feet and yes I do sit too long at the computer, but I've been trying to promote my website (without any luck so far) and I really need to get my house clean. I'm a rotten housekeeper and I always have been so I'm trying to find 'helpful hints' about that. The biggest problem is that the whole dumb job is boring and never ending but I just begrudge paying someone else to do it especially since I've lost a bundle in the stock market recently which of course is horrible all over the world .

I wish I knew if we are heading for hyper inflation or a depression it would make a difference how I handled my money. I don't have enough to just ignore it or take chances with it but I have even read where the State of California might go bankrupt and there goes my pension if that happened (yikes).

Oh well I suppose I won't live long enough to find out. I have to try and get more exercise though I know that's true.

zNice to hear from you again.

I've just received a 50lb bag of something called diatomaceous earth. I can't move it because it's too heavy so I'll have to get my neighbor to help me. I bought it as much because of her anyway. It's her dogs that bring the fleas onto my property and then they get on my two cats. This stuff reads amazing it kills insects yet it's safe enough for people and animals to take internally, it doesn't say so but I think you have to be careful not to inhale it. it's made out of little shells I haven't opened the bag yet I think it's pretty well ground up. Supposed to make sore joints feel better 1 tablespoon a day. 50 lbs should last quite a while (hehe). No I mean to put it ouside to get the fleas. It's not chemical, it's silica. It cost more to ship it than the cost of the product because of the weight 53 lbs. Well I have to get something to store it in. The container I got ready isn't big enough.

Well there might be something in that soil, becausue I have just paid $299.00 american for a detox, called resolvecolitis.com that is supposed to get rid of the diarrhea, arthritis, herpes, etc, but it is making me pretty crook, so it may have something to do with a minute parasite, so your soil could work too, but I would be careful before you ingest it. I am only half way through the treatment as yet, so cannot comment......
