Hi Kel,

I think mangosteen juice is the main part in the

process of easing the pain and join stiffness, after 4

weeks of drink it I can feel lot less painful and my

fingers just fine like never have problem before.

Besides, fish oil and carrot+spinach+broccoli juice 3x

a day it's work wonderfully too, plus other mix

veggie+fruit juices ( all are home made ), it's a lot

of work though,.....

I got the recipe from Jill Harrington ( lupus recovery

diet ), I do little exercise plus eat less meat.

Well, the most important thing no stress, LOL.......I

tried everything to avoid stress including work

related stress, my husband is the one who always try

to make me laugh and forget all my problem.

Cheers,

Jozefina.

If you are asking what I took to get off prednisone then the answer is anti-inflammatories, anything that ends with 'ain is an antiinflammatory, so the first one was something I found at Trader Joe although I'm sure it can be found at any health food store. It is a combination of pineapple and papaya or bromelain and papain, they are little tasty chewable tablets and can be safely taken in much higher doses than recommended. I take them to this day, not expensive either. That was the main one though I have taken many supplements over the years in my quest for good health. I would say ask at any health food store for anti inflammatory supplements and they will tell you what they have.

Right now I am trying to get an intestinal upset stopped and not having much luck with it either. No matter what I eat or don't eat the result seems to be the same. A rush to the bathroom every morning though things seem to settle down for the rest of the day thankfully. I tried going totally wheat free yesterday and the result was no improvement this morning. I had the same problem back in the nineties and that lasted almost a year so I don't relish that prospect. I'm sure it's stress induced as I am having to adjust to the life of a widow and not handling it any too well.

Irene, I am very sorry to hear about your

loss. It must be very tough. Something I suggest is that you get checked (by a

blood test) for food allergies. You may actually be allergic to dairy products.

A lot of people are. Personally, I have many food allergies that I wasn’t

aware of until I got tested. I have systemic lupus. Best of luck,

Amelia
