Its effect on me was profound, and I know it deeply touched many of you too. If Mellen-Thomas' name is new to you, he's an artist who survived a near-death experience in 1982. Monitored for over an hour and a half, he showed no vital signs after dying of terminal cancer. Miraculously he returned to his body with a complete remission of the disease - and one of the most inspirational near death experiences known to date. At the time of his death, he rose up out of his body and went into the light. Curious about the universe, he was taken far into the remote depths of existence, and even beyond, into the energetic void of nothingness behind the Big Bang. During his experience, he learned a great deal of information concerning reincarnation and was able to bring back scientific discoveries and since his near death experience, Mellen-Thomas has maintained his direct access to Universal Intelligence, and returns to the light at will, enabling him to be a bridge between science and spirit. He has been involved in research programs on near death experiences and now holds six U.S. patents on new technologies he has developed for health and wellness. After reading Journey to the Light and Back, I picked myself up off the floor and decided to get in touch. I just had to express my awe and give thanks to Mellen-Thomas for sharing this story with the world. It is truly life-changing and ultimately, life-affirming. I also asked (fingers-crossed) if he'd be willing to share even more of his story with the Otherware and BBSRadio.com audience and update us on how life is going for him, 24 years on... and to my great delight he agreed! I found afterwards that for the last decade, Mellen-Thomas has not granted any interviews to the media whatsoever, despite all the interest he has received, nor has he ever sold the rights to his story for a book or movie, choosing to freely share his experiences with all via the internet and focus more on developing his innovative healing technologies. So, it with great pleasure that I can announce that Mellen-Thomas Benedict will be joining me as my esteemed guest, in a dialogue unlike any other you have ever heard before, this weekend (May 6th/7th) on Otherware. You will hear in his words a message of hope and inspiration for humanity, delivered with a joy and clarity that is refreshing. His depth of feeling and passion for life is a gift to be shared. His rich melodic voice will entrance you. His story will captivate and uplift you... and leave you thinking about Life's biggest question, "What happens to us when we die?" for days and weeks afterwards. Only, I believe your perspective on it may be forever changed after hearing what Mr. Benedict has to say. We will also be making a very special announcement during the show that you will NOT want to miss! I sincerely hope that you tune in live or check the show out when it is archived at BBSRadio.com. If you feel that this subject is important, please circulate this widely. I am very grateful for any help you can provide by forwarding this to your friends and loved ones too. Thanks so much in advance.
